Roger G. Morris, MPM, PMP, CPA
Passionate leader and possessing extensive senior level experience in Technical Project Management, Program
Management, Operations Management and Financial Management, in diverse, multi-disciplined environments. Breadth
of background ranges from application and product development to infrastructure implementation and support to
large-scale systems integration.  I have superior business and financial acumen leading to ability to understand and model
business processes, re-engineer them and develop systems to maximize business intelligence. Through diverse experience
in a wide variety of industries I have developed exceptional skills in process and methodology, project execution,
consensus building and team management.
I am an IT professional with over 20 years of experience. I started as a Programmer and moved to Analyst and into Project
Management up to the Director level. I have worked with a variety of technologies and performed many different
functions. I have been a programmer, an analyst, a lead P/A, a DBA, a business analyst, a systems analyst, a data analyst,
a data architect, a application architect, a project leader, a programmer manager, a release manager, a project
manager and a director.


I have worked in mainframe environments, distributed environments and web environments. I have developed systems that
cross platforms using different development tools including program generators and automated systems updating. Ihave
worked in both development and operations. I have worked with many different methodologies and development
techniques including waterfall, Aagile, RAD, JAD, prototyping. I have managed teams of IT professionals and I have
managed teams of cross functional professionals. I have managed teams where I am in hiring/ firing control and I have
managed where I had no organizational authority.


I have learned the art and science of Project Management from early in my career and honed and refined my skills to
consistently deliver projects on time and within budget. I have studied Project Management and obtained a Masters
degree in Project Management. I have done PM work with no tools except those I developed and with specialized PM
software tools in MS Project and Project Workbench. I have used these tools at a superficial level or and to their fullest
extent. I have provided the voice of front-line experience in developing formal Project Management Offices many times
and helped to develop the local methodologies and processes used by a number of organizations.


I have worked as a consultant for over 15 years and in many organizations including Qwest, Motorola, American Express,
Salt River Project, Pinnacle West, Ameriprise and IBM. I have worked on a variety of business systems such as billing and
accounting, logistic and manufacturing, customer relationship management, facilities management, HR and payroll,
credit card processing and all sorts of financial systems. I have had such a breadth of experience that it prepared me to
become a CPA. There are not many IT situations I am not prepared to handle.
